“No Time to Die” New James Bond film

Nov 26, 2021

One of our friends and correspondents in Colorado went to the big screen opening of the new James Bond movie. He graciously gave me permission to share his observations with you, and to make modifications and additions as I saw fit.

He wrote that the whole movie is replete with symbols and that someone who is “better versed than I could more carefully and completely examine it. Here are just some of what I noticed.”

Spoiler alert: For those of you in Carthagena, Ohio, a spoiler alert means that somewhere in the following report/review, the shocking end of the movie, book, story, etc. is revealed. Therefore, if you plan on seeing the movie, stop reading here.

As for me (JWB), I have not seen it. I will wait until it comes out in DVD format, and I don’t care that I already know the ending. To supplement our correspondent’s observations, I insert a few excerpts from various websites.

“Bond has left active service and is enjoying a tranquil life in Jamaica. His peace is short-lived when his old friend Felix Leiter from the CIA turns up asking for help. The mission to rescue a kidnapped scientist turns out to be far more treacherous than expected, leading Bond onto the trail of a mysterious villain armed with dangerous new technology.” Source

Our correspondent writes that the movie opens with James coming from fishing and it looks like he is walking on water. He throws down two fish. This is the symbol of Pisces, which symbolizes Christ. Therefore, whether they know what they are writing or not, they are telling us that James is a Christ-figure.

He enters the lair of the wicked by stealth—as Christ entered the world (the first time)—in an amazing air glider-submarine. The glider is dropped from a plane. It becomes a submarine. Thus, they are able to stealthily enter the island headquarters of the disease-creating bad guy whose name is—ready for this?... Lyutsifer Safin.

Gee, looks a lot like Lucifer Satan to me. Indeed, Lyutsifer and his satanic, maniacal cabal are seeking to use a nanobot, virus-like bioweapon. Hmmm… sound familiar? Incidentally, the movie had been scheduled for release in early 2020, but no one was going to theaters due to Covid-19, and thus the delay.

As Christ takes on the sin of the world, so James takes on the satanic bioweapon. In the end, Bond lays down his life for his wife and child whom he calls the most beautiful thing he has ever seen.

The wife represents true Israel, who are now Christianized; that is, redeemed and saved by her husband’s sacrifice.

The child represents the overcomers, who, once they are translated into immortality, will have “all the time in the world.” They are not escaping the world but redeeming it in eternal life.

At the end, MI-6’s staff, M, Q, Moneypenny and others gather to toast “to James, to James, to James, to James” (I did not count how many times. I want to see it again.) I looked up the meaning of James. It's Jacob! and who is the salvation force but Great Britain and the U.S.

The movie ends with the mother and the daughter in James' car ending in the tunnel, which morphs in the barrel of the gun with them as the bullets. Sequels to come, to be sure.

Smallpox is mentioned, and nano-technology is demonstrated. Bill Gates recently mentioned the possibility of a smallpox pandemic. In the movie, the scientist who developed this bio-weapon was killed. Look out Fauci and company.

The all-seeing eye is portrayed significantly but Bond destroys it with his special watch that puts out high levels of EMFs. Fun scene, but I'm wondering how this might play out in history.
